alright..i have found myself with an internet connection this week so by the end of it, blog will be stripped and the label will have a few records posted properly here and i think its going to be alot closer to what i originally imagined. well, things are on mark and there will be a glass trees LP on faun on a lawn records in 2009. Maybe early 2010. No rush as I know what Im going for and it will be done when its done. im not going to blog much anymore (maybe) as Im pretty settled finally and am just going to work hard and complete the things Ive begun. I am excited. This has been fun to put to page whats on my mind as to keep it solid and keep me accountable. William Ferrara is a very great guy. Hope Wagner College likes me as much as I like them. My grandparents gave me a great DelRay guitar given an amazing facelift by Anthony Marcatelli of Majestic Guitars. Thank you. Thank you.

bailout
OOOps. Seems my calculator didnt display enough O's. I do have something to say about it though..be back..
Anyhow, music. Yes. Ive whittled 10 songs together that Im happy with and a few more that may make the cut, so a few friends are going to come over to my room and record on my 4 track reel to reel. 'songs from a blue room' or 'empty beautiful things', maybe 'etheral boots'. Very tentative. Also Jeff Humphrey and I will be recording some songs together in April, possibly under the name 'greasy legs'. Im looking forward to it. His 'hello spider' 45 is wonderful. It was a lot of fun playing with the Roadside Graves who were great as always and the J. Humprey Trio on Valentines Day. And a quick little note about playing the Lamepost and making $30 (divided by 4), then getting a bar tab for $50 when we drank crappy Pabst drafts all night. Well I played at a quiet cafe to about one tenth of the people we brought to the Lamepost and made 3x as much and wasnt attacked afterwards by dirtbag thugs. Im certainly not doing this for the money, but when bartenders make hundreds of dollars because of the show you book and the friends you bring, then spit in your face by asking you for $20 for the pleasure, they deserve to have the bar tab thrown in their face, even if it was an accident.

dont let the backlash get you down
i cant wait for spring. the Ankles came and went again and until the very end it was fun. like it was 95% of the time. we went out properly, the way we came in. thanks to all my friends for coming out. thanks to Beth for being a wonderful sister. Fred, i gave the guitar you gave me to Denise's daughter. thought it was appropiate. As for the rest of it, ill let someone wiser than myself figure that all out. Back to work.
